Easter Recipes - Glazed Carrots



With only two weeks until Easter, I started thinking about things to make for Easter dinner this weekend.  This is a recipe for glazed carrots that my Mom shared with me years ago.  It is yummy enough that it will entice the Easter bunny and the bonus is that my children love it.  Try these carrots for Easter dinner and you will be a believer.  Enjoy!

Glazed Carrots
1 lb of carrots (trimmed and sliced)
a pinch of nutmeg
1 ounce of butter
2 Tablespoons of brown sugar

Cover carrots with water and then add the other ingredients.  Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.
